Vintage World's End Dress from Punkature Collection 1983
Vintage World's End Dress from Punkature Collection 1983
A rare and iconic vintage piece from Vivienne Westwood and Malcolm McLaren's Punkature Collection of 1983, bought from their short-lived shop, Nostalgia of Mud, in St Christopher's Place, London.
The unisex dress is made of a sand-coloured perforated jersey cotton. It has a round neck and hangs loosely at the front to below the knees, with asymmetric dropped shoulders and 3/4 sleeves.. It is gathered on a yoke at the back into a very long train that can be worn in a number of ways, here shown over trousers, pulled up and coiled around the neck as a scarf.
