An incredible halter neck dress in black silk jersey by Jean Paul Gaultier, vintage unknown, probably 1990s.
The dress starts at the bust with an edging of fine black chiffon, and hugs the body to mid calf length. There is a plait all down the front of the dress and the halter neck is composed of long plaited ropes of matching black jersey fabric, which end in three lovely plastic adornments: clear plastic shapes with red, yellow and green centres. There is a small zip at the back.
