Burberry Tailored Skirt Suit in Grey Check Weave with Silver Thread, UK12

A glamorous tailored two piece in grey, cream and black check by Burberry, a wonderful update of the classic skirt suit.

The fitted jacket has a  small round collar, which can be worn standing up, and buttons down the front.  There is a double layered edge all around the collar, front and hem, cut on the bias to produce a subtle frill effect.  Double flapped pockets, fully lined.

The A line skirt is knee-length with a split both back and front, backed with a double layer of black silk crepe de chine.  Side zip, fully lined.

A really versatile two piece which can work very well as separates; in fact the skirt has never been worn.  The fabric is stunning, coarse woven cream and black check on a grey ground, with delicate pale blue and silver threads.
