A wonderful tailor made 3-piece suit from archive of film costume designer Annie Symons, made for an actor for a film, both of which must remain nameless. Beautifully tailored in Venetian wool and lined in bamboo-pattern silk, although made for a slender man it is a very small size and could easily be professionally altered to fit a woman's shape.
The hip length jacket has statement shoulders, notched lapels, and is a slender shape with 2 mother of pearl buttons, flapped pockets, a breast pocket and 2 inner pockets. It has a single vent, buttoned sleeves and overstictched cuffs.
The waistcoat is quite a wide fitting with a cinched back in contrasting grey pinstripe. It has 6 very attractive dark mother of pearl buttons and 3 front pockets.
The trousers have a button fly, with no waistband, slight kick flare at the hem, bootcut. They are raised in 2 points at the back with inner brace buttons.
