Bonnie Cashin Vintage Leather Coat with Fur Collar, UK12

Regular price £350.00 Sale

A fantastic 1970s vintage coat by Bonnie Cashin for Sills, in parchment coloured leather with brown fur collar.

Bonnie Cashin was the original designer for Coach in the 1960s who pioneered the brass turn lock/toggle fastening that is still used by Coach today, inspired by the brass turnlocks that secured the top of her 1940s convertible. The hardware became a signature feature of all of her designs, and are present on this lovely coat.

Straight cut, fastening under the large (possibly racoon or Tanuki) fur collar. Loose fitting down to below the knee. The sleeves have a distinctive design continuing into a square panel at the bust.

Slit pockets, beautifully finished, fully lined.
