Antique 19th Century Maxi Skirt in Purple Chinese Silk with Gold Embroidery

An exquisite 19th Century antique maxi skirt in imperial purple shot silk with black silk trim.

Wide black waistband with self covered buttons to the side.  A line to ankle length, with central panel featuring gold embroidered dragon motif to the front, bird of paradise to the back.  Fully lined in fine turquoise silk.
