A dramatic 1990s vintage party dress by Yves Saint Laurent Rive Gauche, with black lace bodice and red silk taffeta skirt.
Fitted bodice with low scoop neck and long sleeve, made of black floral guipure lace backed with fine silk chiffon. The skirt is a brilliant poppy red silk taffeta, flaring out flamboyantly from a gathered waist to below the knee, with wide stiffened hem for enhanced structure and movement.
Wide belt in stiffened black grosgrain with large rectangular buckle. Concealed back zip.
The labels have been removed but the designer branding is stamped of the inside of the belt.
