Vintage Tea Dress in Floral Silk, UK10

A beautiful, delicate c.1930s vintage tea dress in pastel floral silk.

V neck edged with a matching frill, with a fill panel of rows of fine ecru georgette, fastening at the side.  The bodice is unfitted to below the bust, the skirt cut on the bias and hanging to knee length.  Long sleeves with unusual cuffs echoing the Georgette inserts at the neck.  Single frill attaching just below the bust.

Measurements (laid flat, pre-stretch)):

Shoulder to shoulder: 38cm 

Bust: 90cm

Seam under bust: 82cm

Length shoulder - waist: 31cm

Length waist - hem:  65cm

Sleeve: 55cm

Condition: Good.  There is significant damage to the georgette ruffles at neck and cuffs.  This could be repaired or replaced by an expert, fairly easily.  The dress is otherwise in very good condition.
