An immaculate 1960s vintage Scottish tweed skirt suit of beautiful forest green with scarlet weave, from the personal collection of film costume designer Annie Symons, in fact hand made by her mother in around 1965.
It has a wrapover skirt to just above the knee; the waist is tiny but fastens with three poppers which could easily be moved for the modern shape.
The boxy jacket is waist-length and has a lovely tie neck feature and 3/4 length sleeves.
It fastens down the front with original buttons, the lowest one being off-centre on the waist. Beautifully hand finished and fully lined.
