An absolutely stunning vintage creation from British Boutique designer Catherine Buckley's Fragile collection, c.1976. Around this time she salvaged a job lot of fabric samples from an abandoned 19thC factory and made a series of unique patchwork garments from these exquisite materials.
Here we have a fabulous floor length skirt with tiered flounces in contrasting fabrics, over which is worn a loose fitting camisole with contrasting deep circular ruffle in the style of a peasant dress. A beautiful fitted jacket with trademark looped buttons covered in matching fabric, slightly puffed sleeves and mandarin collar compete the glamorous bohemian look.
