Givenchy Vintage 2 Piece Shorts Suit in Brown Linen with Gold Buttons, UK10-12

A fantastic 1980s vintage 2 piece shorts suit by Givenchy "Life" in fine brown linen.

Givenchy "Life" was a sportswear line launched in 1984, and later in Japan in 1985.  This piece has Japanese labels although it was made in France.

The top has a wide neck, and dropped short sleeve with small removable shoulder pads. Loose fit. Feature gold tone rounded buttons across neckline and sleeves. Back zip, unlined.

The shorts are knee length, loose fit with pleated front and matching gold tone buttons down the sides.  Side pockets, front zip, unlined.
