A subtle and delicate antique kimono, in pale grey blue silk with Japanese floral motif in creamy pastel yellow and orange.
Harmonious design with interesting subtle jacquard weave and delicate embroidery in silver and gold thread to the front.
Fully lined in silk.
Provenance: This kimono is from the collection of a former lecturer in textiles, who accumulated his treasured pieces during extensive travels in the middle and Far East in the late 1960s - early 1970s. Unfortunately the paper records have been lost, so no more information is now available.
